IPL hair removal treatment is an ultra-safe application for photo epilation. The wavelength is adapted to the melanin content of the target hair and nearby tissue. The Intense Pulse Light is selectively delivered to the hair follicle without harming the epidermis. IPL treatment are only effective when the hair follicle is actively growing hair, this is because at the other time the hair shaft is not actually “fully connected” to the follicle.
During the treatment, by increasing the temperature and inducing heat into the follicle, part of the energy of the IPL is absorbed by the pigment of the hair but another part of the energy penetrates the dermis and is directly absorbed by the bud. This synergy, specific and exclusive of IPL, helps to irreversibly disable most of the calls responsible for hair growing.
The visit schedule is based on the natural growth cycle of the hair.
